Krista Allen began a career as a model, appearing in numerous Budweiser posters, ads and calendars. Upon completing a degree in education at the University of Texas, Krista Allen had a job as a school teacher. During this time, Krista Allen was crowned Miss Texas and worked as an aerobics instructor, which led to being a spokesperson for World Gym. She then decided to pursue a professional acting career, moved to Los Angeles and quickly landed a role on the CBS TV drama “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
In 1994, Krista Allen won the sensual lead role in the TV series “Emmanuelle In Space,” which helped her male fan base grow overnight. In 1996, Krista Allen proved her acting chops and developed a female fan base when she replaced Lisa Rinna in the long-running daytime series “Days of Our Lives,” where she portrayed Billie Reed until 1999. On the big screen, Krista Allen had minor yet notable roles in feature films, such as the 1996 indie action film “Rolling Thunder” and the 1997 Jim Carrey comedy flick “Liar, Liar.”
Since the late 1990s, Krista Allen continued to appear on numerous TV programs, including guest spots on “Pacific Blue,” “Friends,” “Married with Children,” “Charmed,” “Spin City,” “Arli$$,” “Frasier,” “Two and a Half Men,” “Frasier” and “Smallville.” Krista Allen welcomed the year 2000 with a guest role in the cult favorite “The X-Files.” That same year, she guest-starred in an episode of “Baywatch Hawaii” as Jenna Avid – the role she continued to play until for two seasons. In 2001, Krista Allen had a minor recurring role in “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” was featured alongside Scott Baio in the film “Face Value” and was the lead in the indie comedy flick “Totally Blonde.”
In 2002, Krista Allen had her big break on the big screen when George Clooney cast her in his directorial film debut “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.” The following year, Krista Allen worked alongside Adam Sandler and Jack Nicolson in the comedy flick “Anger Management” and the John Woo thriller “Paycheck.” In 2005, Krista Allen wowed TV viewers when she played herself in a story based on her life on the HBO series “Unscripted,” followed by a role in the horror film “Feast” in 2006.
Aside from acting, Krista Allen has also designed a line of panties, which was sold at Kitson boutique. She then formed a successful t-shirt line then-named “SexBrand” (now SuperEXcellent).
